On the occasion, the head of the Education portfolio thanked the CFB "for the support provided in the transport of school manuals to the east of the country", stressing that the "material transported arrived in good condition and safely".

According to a note from the CFB, the minister made it known that the material transported to the east of Angola concerns primary education "which ranges from initiation to 6th grade" and will serve to "support students from the provinces of Moxico, Lunda Sul and Lunda Norte".

In addition, the official also mentioned another important point about the "need to establish content on the railroad in the vocational technical education system with the aim of providing young people with content on the rail sector, to help them whenever there is a need of admission of new workers in the railway companies".

The chairman of the company's Board of Directors (PCA), António Manuel Cabral, also quoted in the note, made it known that the official "took a good impression of the company", having assured that the CFB will continue to "fulfill its role".

Regarding training - one of the topics raised at the meeting by the minister -, the official suggested that "the courses should be according to the needs of the railway sector, for example, mechanics, factors, material inspectors, track monitors, so that the young people have some "ease" in the labor market".

Luísa Grilo was received in the general management of the CFB by the company's CEO, in the presence of the director for the Financial area, Mosheta Lukumbo, non-executive director Jesus Nelson Martins and directors from various areas, says the note.

The communiqué also notes that at the meeting, the PCA clarified the minister about the current state of the company, having highlighted "the great investment made by the Angolan Government, the state of rolling stock, transport of passengers and goods, volume of transported cargo, not forgetting to point out about the ongoing concession process".
