Petro wins and 1.º de Agosto loses getting further away in the fight for Girabola

1.º de Agosto lost this Sunday against Desportivo da Huila, by 2-1, in a game of the 25th round, played in the province of Huíla, and conceded the fourth defeat in the national football championship.

Nandinho, in the 29th minute, and Cagodó, in the 45th minute, scored the goals, while Benarfa, in the 54th minute, reduced the disadvantage. With this defeat, 1.º de Agosto was delayed in the fight for the title, and remained in third position, with 44 points.

Petro de Luanda, led by Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos, beat Sporting de Cabinda 3-0 on Saturday, in a game on the 25th round, and continues to lead Girabola with 58 points.

The Brazilian Tiago Azulão opened the scoring in the 34th minute, after an assist from his compatriot Gleison, and six minutes later, Yano extended the score, and, in the 66th minute, Jaredi consolidated the result, with five games remaining in the championship.

In the next round, Petro de Luanda will face, in Luanda, Sagrada Esperança, who thrashed Sporting de Benguela by 6-0, and remains in second position, five points behind the leader.

Jenfer, at three minutes, Jó Paciência, at 61 and 74, Luís Tati, at 61 minutes, Carlinhos, two minutes later, and Cachi, at 77, sentenced the match.
Recreativo do Libolo, coached by Portuguese coach Paulo Torres, lost 2-0 at home to Académica do Lobito, and dropped to eighth position, with 31 points, after goals from Adilson, at 65, and Cabibi, at 72.

Interclube beat Progresso do Sambizanga by 3-0, and reinforced their fourth position, with 39 points, thanks to goals scored by Julinho, at 6 and 62 minutes, and Paty, at 48.

Bravos do Maquis beat Recreativo da Caála by 2-1, with goals from Estêvão and Choule, in the 86th minute, while Jepson, in the 90th minute, reduced.

Desportivo da Lunda Sul defeated Kabuscorp do Palanca by 1-0, after a goal from Liliano, in the 12th minute, and remains in 13th position, with 25 points.

Depu, from Sagrada Esperança, leads the list of top scorers, with 19 goals, followed by Tiago Azulão, from Petro de Luanda, with 16.
