Privatizations have already yielded almost 870 billion kwanzas

Angola's privatization program has already generated almost 870 billion kwanzas from the sale of 84 assets and companies, announced the Luanda authorities.

By the end of the first half of the year, Angola "plans to conclude 48 processes, of which the completion of processes in the financial sector (ENSA, BAI, BODIVA), the telecommunications sector (TV Cabo and Multitel), and in the industrial sector (4th phase privatization of the assets of the ZEE, Secil Lobito - Companhias de Cimentos do Lobito and Industrial Units of the CIF Universe)", according to the statement.

Of the 84 privatized assets, the agriculture sector created 389 direct jobs, with the industrial sector, where the Exclusive Economic Zones are located, representing more than 1,000 jobs, in addition to 393 new jobs in the textile and industrial units. maintenance of the 105 seats in the real estate and tourism sectors.
