Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities starts first visit to Angola on Thursday

The Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities, Berta Nunes, starts her first visit to Angola on Thursday, which includes meetings with the Angolan counterpart and with provincial authorities, was announced.

The program officially starts on Friday morning, with visits to the Portuguese School of Luanda and Colégio São Francisco de Assis, both in the capital, followed in the afternoon by a meeting with members of the Portuguese community in Camões - Portuguese Cultural Center in Luanda, according to a note from the governor's office.

On Saturday, Berta Nunes will be present at 10 am at the presentation of greetings to the deputy governor of Lubango. Then she will participate in the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate in Lubango and will visit the Portuguese School in Lubango.

On the same day, the Secretary of State will visit the premises of the construction company Omatapalo.

On Monday, and already in the province of Benguela, Berta Nunes will have a meeting with the governor of the province and visit the consulate general of Portugal in Benguela. A meeting with members of the Portuguese community is scheduled for the same day at the industrial complex Carro.

On the last day of the agenda, the Secretary of State will return to the capital, where she will visit the consulate general of Portugal and Camões - Centro Cultural Português, in Luanda.

Berta Nunes will also have a meeting with the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Vieira Lopes, and a meeting with members of the Portuguese community.
