Fox Crime premieres “Perfect Crimes”

:

In April, the French anthological television collection "Crimes Perfeito" debuts on FOX Crime, where each episode has different characters, stories and scenarios, but all come together in the same plot. Each episode begins by showing the crime and the perpetrator, who thinks he has committed the perfect crime. A pair of detectives come into action so that no criminal can get away with it.

In the first episode of the series: "Perfect Crimes: A Good Singer is a Dead Singer", unfolds the case of Franck Lopsis (Gérard Darmon), the owner of a struggling record label. Artists have opted for other publishers and there is only one left, Jibé (Elliot Jenicot), who now has a new album. However, he has already told Franck that he will be the last. He, too, will turn to another publisher. Franck is in debt and on the verge of bankruptcy and Jibé's departure could be the last nail in the coffin. With no other choice, he engenders the perfect murder, disguising it as suicide. Death is spectacular enough to put the media on fire. However, when Agnès (Isabelle Gélinas) is sent to investigate, she quickly realizes that the "suicide" is too perfect.

"Perfect Crimes" has a single premise: presumptuous criminals, who believe they have committed the perfect crime; onlookers trying to guess how the cops are going to decipher the killer's brilliant crime; and, at the end of each episode, the "Eureka!" moment, when detectives reveal the last vital clue - the one that has been "hidden" in plain sight all along.
