The purchase of corn led the company to produce, in the first quarter of this year, around 2400 tons of corn vats.

The director of Nova Cimor Moagens, Ramiro Maya, told Angop that the daily production capacity of the plant is 40 tons of corn vats - corresponding to 70 thousand bags of 25 kilos each.

He explained that the company's goal is to increase production capacity and, for that, more production lines will be assembled: "When the other two production lines are assembled we will reach approximately ten thousand tons per day".

Still talking about figures, Ramiro Maya said that the factory recorded an increase in turnover of around three million kwanzas compared to the same period last year.

He also made it known that the company is marketing the product in the provinces of Huila, Cunene, Namibe, Luanda, Benguela, Huambo and Kwanza Sul.
