The aim with the opening of these new pharmacies is to allow the population to have easier access to medicines, the company explained in a statement.
In the note, cited by Angop, HXA reveals that one of the pharmacies is already open: the pharmacy was inaugurated on 25 March, in Bairro Azul, and cost 600 million kwanzas.
However, given the urgency of continuing to fight the spread of covid-19, the group will open the second pharmacy later this month. This second pharmacy will be installed in the urban district of Rangel and will have masks, alcohol gel and other protective materials available to the population.
According to the administrator of the HXA business group, Dalvan Costa, quoted by Angop, the opening of this second pharmacy aims to "bring to the outskirts quality services at affordable prices, according to local purchasing power".
"Although the start was in Luanda, where three more units are expected to open, the Kyambote pharmacy network will have national coverage," he added.
