According to the survey conducted by Marktest Angola, 74.6 percent of respondents are experiencing economic problems caused by the pandemic.
The figures, cited by Jornal Angola, reveal that more than 30 per cent of angolans have their source of income stopped, since they have survived the daily work. Already 23.8 per cent are behind in their wages and 19.8 per cent have no money to buy water and food.
As for how angolans feel about the disease, Marktest Angola indicates that 49 per cent of the population is very worried, 38 per cent say they are trying to stay calm and 25 per cent feel insecure because they don't know what the pandemic has in store for them.
Among the biggest fears with the presence of covid-19 in the country is that it will be contaminated (28 per cent) and the possibility of food shortages (21 per cent).
