The lecture held by the Angolan National Police Provincial Command in Benguela aimed to raise awareness among the force's personnel about the importance of protecting and guaranteeing the rights of crime victims.
During the event, fundamental guidelines were discussed to ensure that victims receive dignified and fair treatment from the reporting stage to the conclusion of the investigation and legal proceedings.
The initiative reinforces the National Police's commitment to strengthening the Angolan criminal justice system, making it more humane and efficient.
The lecture was attended by Chief Superintendent Gabriel Kakisi, head of the Criminal Offences Investigation Department (DIIP) of the Angolan National Police Provincial Command in Benguela, representing Commissioner Aristófanes dos Santos, Provincial Commander of the National Police in Benguela. Also present were Superintendent Inácio Justo, head of the Training Department of that territorial unit, as well as members of Public Order, the Rapid Intervention Police (PIR) and the Provincial Directorate for the Investigation of Criminal Offenses (DIIP).
