It all started in 2014, when the project benefited from the Angola Investe program. According to the businesswoman, that year they began the "physical realization of investments", and the following year they started with "effective production".

"The investment came about as a result of the Angola Investe program, we benefited in 2014, the year in which we also began physically carrying out investments and, in 2015, in March, we began effective production", he said, speaking to Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA).

However, she admitted that the journey has not been easy, but that persistence is the watchword. "Nothing is easy, you always need commitment, dedication and, in my case, above all, persistence was necessary and is still necessary today", she pointed out.

"I persist despite the various difficulties that poultry farmers, I think at national level, have faced, particularly due to some shortage of some raw materials so that we can have a ration with the expected levels, because when we don't have a complete ration we also don't we have the expected production. Yes, it is a challenge, but one that I don't think about giving up", she added.

Furthermore, the businesswoman also spoke about gender. "When we talk about women then we add young women, it seems that we are deprived of some capacity, but no. This is just for us to demonstrate, as a woman I speak on behalf of other women, that we are also capable, we can work not only in boutiques, in restaurants, but we can also act in various sectors (...)", she stated.

According to TPA, the infrastructure employs 46 people. This is the case of Simão Livamba, who says that the job changed his life.

"It really changed my life a lot, (...) I wanted to say thank you", he said, adding: "I also have children who study and I can pay my children's tuition thanks to my work that I found here".

Betlaidy José, who is the supervisor at the aviary, says that she always wanted to work with animals and despite the challenges she enjoys what she does. "It has always been my desire to work with animals, as I come from a family of farmers. It was a challenge because there are those who say that the countryside was not made for women. I like working here and it is being a challenge and will continue to be a challenge challenge until one day I can prosper professionally", she pointed out, speaking to TPA.
