Victor Hugo Mendes embraces new project on RTP3

Angolan journalist Victor Hugo Mendes will embrace a new television journey by debuting, this month, a new program on RTP3, where journalist Alexandra André will be at his side.

:

Hugo Mendes' new program, which has been running for almost four years on RTP África, will debut on March 23rd, starting at 6pm.

Moving from 'Algarve to Lapland', the program, according to the journalist's official Facebook page, will also be on RTP Europa.

The project, whose season will feature more than 20 programs, aims to showcase several European Union projects in its member countries.

Thus, the recording of the program took Hugo Mendes to Lapland (Finland), where the team – also composed of Tiago Passos, image reporter, and Rebecca Abecassis, journalist – experienced very cold weather.

According to the journalist, they did their best in the face of -25º Celsius. "We did our best, in the face of very adverse weather conditions (-25ºC), especially for me, who is used to a tropical climate", he pointed out.

On his Instagram, the journalist shared a video where he is surrounded by snow and highlighting his experience in Lapland. "Are there experiences that mark our lives, yes or no? At minus 25 degrees the air is even purer #Lapland on a service mission for RTP", he wrote in the description.

Victor Hugo Mendes also took the opportunity to thank the journalist Rebecca for the invitation to this project and also Cândida Pinto, with whom he became friends on RTP and extended the invitation to comment on RTP3.
