The flag airline explains, in a statement sent to VerAngola, that participation in this event "coincides with the implementation of the new commercial strategy for the Portuguese market, where in addition to the growth and consolidation of the traditional Luanda-Lisbon connection, additional routes will be explored (multipoint) attracting tourists from Portugal and Europe to destinations in Africa and Brazil covered by TAAG".

Thus, digital marketing and communication campaigns are in progress with the aim of "promoting a set of leisure activities and experiences, exotic, savannah, cultural, gastronomic, nature, events and sports (among others), in destinations such as Angola, Namibia, Mozambique, São Tomé, South Africa or Brazil", adds the statement.

TAAG also reports that the connection between Luanda and Lisbon concerns one of its "most consolidated international routes" and "currently has frequencies (bi-daily) transporting thousands of passengers annually, a reflection of the strong relationship and history that unites Angola and Portugal".

The airline also mentions that the President of the Republic of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, visited the company's stand and interacted with the TAAG delegation.

According to the document, the event "is a business platform and of great attraction for an audience with a high interest in travel for tourism or corporate reasons".
