Registration for the centrality Halavala starts on Monday. 751 houses available in the first phase

Registration for the centrality Halavala, located in the municipality of Bailundo, in Huambo, will start next week, namely on Monday (March 27) for former combatants and for people with disabilities, within a period that will extend until April 7 , while for the general public, registration only starts on April 10th. In this first phase, a total of 751 houses are available.

According to a communiqué from the Provincial Government of Huambo, to which VerAngola had access, registration will take place at the gymnastics club in the municipality of Bailundo, from 8 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Regarding registration deadlines, the provincial government informs, in the statement, that "for former combatants and people with disabilities, registration will be from March 27 to April 7" and "for the general public it will be from April 10 to 18".

According to the note, the draws will take place on the 24th, 25th and 26th of April, with 751 homes available in this first phase. "For the lottery are available: 451 rooms for the general public; 150 rooms for former combatants and veterans of the homeland; 150 rooms for people with disabilities", adds the statement.

In terms of registration requirements, the note advances, former combatants and veterans of the country must, upon registration, present the Former Combatant Card, proof of salary and a copy of the Identity Card, while people with a disability must present the documents "attesting to the condition of disability, income from work and a copy of the Identity Card".

As for the general public, "those interested in applying for resolvable income must present proof of salary, whose income is equal to or greater than 122,475.00 kwanzas".

"For the leasing modality, only those whose salary income is less than 122,475.00 kwanzas should register", adds the statement.

For the 100 percent prompt payment modality, candidates must present "the bank statement with the reference of the value of 7,585,168.50 kwanzas", while for the 50 percent prompt payment modality, they must present the "bank statement with a reference value of 6,792,584.25 kwanzas", says the statement.

The provincial government also points out that registrations for the draw must be carried out in person and in the manner indicated, excluding any attempt to carry out registrations on behalf of third parties "and, for this purpose, the interested party must be accompanied by the Ticket original Identity Card and" of the referred documents.

Speaking to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), the coordinator of the provincial commission for housing in the centrality of Halavala, Crescenciano Sapi, said that "the process is ongoing, there are already chances that people will be able to arrive there later this month. There are already processes very advanced that are taking place in the Kora".

"Certain deadlines established for verifying certain requirements to check up on whether or not candidates already own homes in other centralities across the country," he added, quoted by RNA.

According to RNA, of the 3005 housing units, around 600 are aimed at young people. "The civil service has, in this case, 902 rooms, for the youth quota 601 rooms are available", said the coordinator, quoted by RNA.
