Ntwala Oh Yeah

:

From the 2nd to the 4th of June, Ntwala Oh Yeah! will take place, which is an itinerant meeting between performing arts, including music, visual arts, spoken word, literature, and dance.

Presented by Konono Soul Arts, the Ntwala Oh Yeah! is a festival designed for performances by emerging artists, both locally and in other countries, and also a space for exchange between artists.

The event, which will take place annually in the country's cities, will debut in Luanda.

The festival will take place in June, on the stages of the Corridor adjacent to the National Union of Plastic Artists in Angola (UNAP), with the call for artists starting in March and running until April 5, with the announcement of the selected artists taking place on the 15th of April.

This first edition will feature 25 showcases of artistic, emotional and diverse manifestations, talks about copyright and a tourist adventure tour.

With regard to candidates, who must be aged 18 or over, the call is directed at 15 Angolan artists and 10 non-local artists. Applicants are asked to send their artistic dossiers in PDF or web link, and only artists from the disciplines mentioned in the festival catalog should apply. The application can be sent to the email available on Ntwala Oh Yeah's social networks.
