Bangladesh wants to intensify trade and export fabrics to Angola

Masudur Rahman, the new designated Ambassador of Bangladesh to Angola, this Tuesday presented his figurative letters to the holder of the national diplomacy portfolio, Téte António, highlighting his country's intention to export fabrics to Angola.

The occasion served for the new designated Representative of the Diplomatic Mission of Bangladesh in Angola to present the legal instruments that enable the exercise of functions as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of his country in the Republic of Angola.

The two government officials expressed interest in deepening economic and trade relations between the two countries. Masudur Rahman demonstrated his country's intention to export fabrics to Angola and to help in the manufacture of boats, given his experience in these sectors.

The Bangladeshi diplomat served his country in diplomatic missions in China and Nigeria, as well as other missions in Russia, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting between Téte António and Masudur Rahman was witnessed by Ambassador Clemente Camenha, director of the Asia and Oceania Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the consultant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Márcio Burity.

Bangladesh is a country located in the South Asia region, bordering India and Myanmar. It is one of the most populous countries in the world, with 164.6 million inhabitants. The country's capital, Dhaka, is one of the largest cities in the world, with over 19 million inhabitants, with most of its population employed in the agricultural sector.
