According to a note published on the consulate's official website, the displacement of consular service officials to the province of Cabinda aims to bring the consular services closer to national citizens who are in more distant locations, providing different services to the Portuguese communities residing there.

During these three days, the Portuguese in Cabinda will be able to request a citizen's card and passport and carry out acts of civil registration and notary, consular registration or voter registration, among other services.

The consular presence will work at the premises of the Mota-Engil company, between 8:00 am and noon and between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, with similar initiatives to be followed in the near future.

The Portuguese consulate general in Luanda says it is "committed to the effort to bring consular services closer to Portuguese citizens and all users", with the progressive improvement of sanitary conditions, and in accordance with the Angolan authorities, resuming the annual program of consular presences, according to their area of jurisdiction and existing availability.
