"Regular flights to Lisbon were authorized from 17 March 2021, São Paulo from 19 March 2021 and to Johannesburg from 20 of this month.
Angola on Thursday announced the lifting of the suspension of direct flights to Portugal, Brazil and South Africa, which had been interrupted since 16 January, due to the emergence of new strains of the covid-19 pandemic.
The announcement was made by the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Adão de Almeida, during the presentation of the new rules on the situation of public calamity.
Boarding on flights to and from Angola is subject to the presentation of the RT-PCR test with a negative result, carried out within 72 hours prior to the trip, with no authorization being required.
TAAG also informed passengers on flights to São Paulo, Brazil, that it is mandatory to complete the Traveler's Health Declaration (DSV), issued by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), for disembarkation in São Paulo.
