Laurinda Cardoso, who heads the technical support group for PIIM, admitted that these contracts will allow the health centers and schools to start functioning as soon as the construction works are finished.

As for the Education sector, the hiring will be done slowly and gradually, and the first selections should start this year and be understood in the next years, he clarified.
With the tender for the Health area, the Government plans to hire doctors, nurses, and health technicians. For Education, the Executive intends to hire teachers, assistants and administrative staff.
The official said that the objective of these tenders is that in September, when the next school year begins, the infrastructures inaugurated under the PIIM will already have employees to start operating.
As soon as the PIIM projects are "concluded, they should not wait for the recruitment and selection process of staff", she indicated.
The responsible still emphasized that the sectors of Education and Health are working together so that a strategy that fulfills all the requirements demanded by the processes of the competitions can be outlined in a timely way, and also took the opportunity to reveal that the execution of the projects of PIIM, that were in the portfolio, evolved in about 90 percent.

Juciene Cristiano, national director of Public Investment, revealed that 1472 projects have already been carried out throughout the country, meaning an accumulated execution of about 151 billion kwanzas.
"This figure will increase substantially in the coming days, taking into account the existence of 1583 projects ready to be executed," she indicated.
