There are more people wanting to work in Angola. Country on 14 positions in the ‘most attractive’ ranking

A study recently released by the Global Talent Survey shows the country's 14 positions rise in the ranking of the most attractive countries to work for. Angola now occupies the 67th position in a list of 196 countries.

In Angola, the survey involved more than 5000 participants, with 60 percent expressing a willingness to work abroad. According to the Market, the countries that attracted the most interest were Portugal, Canada and the United States of America (USA).

In the opposite direction, and registering an increase of 14 places in relation to the study of 2020, the main interested in working in Angola are Portuguese and Brazilians.

For the first time in eight years, the USA has lost its top spot in terms of where foreigners would like to work, with Canada now considered the most attractive destination. The combat measures imposed by the Governments of both countries against the covid-19 pandemic may explain this change in the ranking, say those responsible for the study.

The Gloval Talent Survey presents itself as a worldwide job market survey. It is developed by the Boston Consulting Group, The Network and has the partnership of the Angolan job portal Jobartis.

A total of three reports were prepared, referring to the research in 2021. The first focuses on the preference for mobility, dedicated to the 'where' is that people want to work. The second and third reports will be released in the coming days and address the 'how' people want to work and the responses to the changes recently imposed on the world of work.
