The new infections were detected in Luanda (57), Benguela (3), Cabinda (1) and Malanje (1), aged between 3 months and 78 years, 37 males and 25 females.
In this period one death occurred (Angolan, 63 years old) and 73 people recovered from the disease, with ages ranging from 5 to 69 years old.
The laboratories processed 1250 samples, in a cumulative of 421,355 samples, with a positivity rate of 5.2 percent.
Angola has totaled 21,836 covid-19 cases, of which 20,172 have recovered, 1132 are active (including six critical and seven severe) and 532 have resulted in death, since the pandemic began in the country on March 21, 2020.
The covid-19 pandemic has caused at least 2,735,411 deaths worldwide, resulting from more than 124.1 million cases of infection, according to an assessment by the French AFP news agency.
The disease is transmitted by a new coronavirus detected in late 2019 in Wuhan, a city in central China.
