On Wednesday, March 24th, the documentary "On the Other Side of the World" will be presented, as part of the project Cinemas on Wednesdays, by KinoYetu, Art and Culture Foundation and Geração 80.
The presentation will take place at the Wyza Amphitheater, at 6:30pm.
The documentary portrays two love stories, starring two women from different cultures. That of Paulina, an Angolan from Bentiaba who meets Johnny, a Chinese citizen who has come to Angola to build a road that remains unfinished, and that of Sofia who arrives in Angola with her husband Inácio, an Angolan ex-smuggler in China, leaving their son in his country.
This is the third edition of the project, after having presented the films "Air Conditioning" and "Beyond My Steps".
Admission is free except on the last Wednesdays of the month.
