International Francophone Day is celebrated on March 20, the date of the creation of the International Francophone Organization (OIF). In Angola, Alliance Française, in partnership with the Group of Francophone Ambassadors, will coordinate a series of events throughout the month of March.
Highlighted is the Francophone Film Festival, which takes place between the 19th and 28th of March.
The initiative includes screenings of French-speaking films at Cinemax Talatona, Belas Shopping and Mutu Ya Kevela, Maianga.
At Cinemax, the entrance costs 1000 kwanzas per film, with sessions limited to 40 people.
