The award was given last Thursday, March 18, as part of the 28th edition of the 'World's Best Banks' awards.
According to Platinaline, to reach this conclusion the magazine analyzed some criteria, among which the increase in assets, profits, relationship strategy, product innovation, business development and the service implemented according to the needs of its clients in more troubled times.
This award "is the result of the implementation of a solid business strategy, constant innovation, investment in human capital, and spirit of resilience in the national and global financial context," admitted Luís Lélis, quoted by Platinaline.
The editorial director of Global Finance, Joseph D. Giarraputo, said that banks "are playing an important role in the world's economic recovery.
"The World's Best Banks Award honors the leaders who are contributing to this growth and charting the way forward," he said, adding that this year's assessment "is more important and valuable than previous ones in the award's 28-year history, given the unprecedented economic situation the world is experiencing due to the pandemic."
