Forbes: Isabel dos Santos with 100 million less in her pocket remains the richest woman in Africa

According to the magazine's ranking - which analyzes the wealth of the richest people in the world -, mentioned by Expansão, Isabel dos Santos lost 100 million dollars and went down five places in the table. Despite the negative results, the daughter of José Eduardo dos Santos continues to lead the list with regard to gender, remaining the richest woman on the African continent.

Last year, Isabel dos Santos was considered the 8th richest person in Africa. This year, the businesswoman went down to 13th place.

However, Isabel dos Santos remains the youngest person and the only woman to be on the list of the 15 richest people in Africa, Expansão writes.

The magazine also indicates that Isabel dos Santos' fortune has not yet been affected by property foreclosures in Angola and Portugal.

The ranking is led by El Hadji Aliko Dangote, from Nigeria, who has a heritage four times greater than that of Isabel dos Santos.
