The fact was reported this Thursday to Lusa by the general director of Inacec, Diógenes de Oliveira, who condemns the use of some operators, traders and suppliers "who take advantage of this phase to speculate prices, especially in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela and Huíla .

According to the official, awareness-raising activities are already taking place at the country level, with appeals about the need to "have a patriotic sense at this time", but he also noted that there are already coercive actions against "profiteering" suppliers and / or traders.

The use of soap, alcohol gel, masks, toilet paper and tissues are included in the authorities' recommendations as material to protect the Covid-19 pandemic, whose new epicenter is Europe, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Angola, without confirmed cases of the disease, is developing actions to raise awareness and reinforce epidemiological surveillance measures at the 32 points of entry throughout the country.
