"The model of entrepreneurs that we have today is to drop, unfortunately," said Precioso Domingos, who was speaking to the press, at the end of a round table on the state of Angola's economy and its repercussions on other sectors, held on Thursday market.
According to the economist, it is necessary that a series of people, who “are not part of this 'establishment', namely entrepreneurs with ideas”, appear and have access and opportunities, regardless of belonging to groups A or B, to make the economy resurface.
For Precioso Domingos, the Government “has to move a little away from the idea that, for the non-oil economy to work, this will result from meetings” with what he called entrepreneurs with the same vices.
"These entrepreneurs have interests, defend sectors, protect and new ones do not enter", lamented the expert.
The economist also stressed that, in a market economy, "incentives are sent to the market blindly and those who have skills will be able to benefit from them, regardless of whoever they are". “Just having talent”, he reinforced, stressing that “is not what happens”.
