On Saturday, the national team took the field again to face Kenya. The country emerged victorious again, with a considerable points difference: Angola beat its Kenyan opponents 88-58.
According to the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), Childe Dundão was the MVP (Most Valuable Player, in Portuguese: most valuable player) of the game, having scored 18 points, two rebounds, seven assists, three steals and 22 percent of shots efficiency.
In the third and final game of the first qualifying window for Afrobasket 2025, played this Sunday, Angola failed to beat Tunisia, having lost by a difference of nine points (82-73).
According to a note from FAB, to which VerAngola had access, "Aboubakar Gakou was the national team's top scorer, equaling the number of points scored by the best player of the night from the opposing team, Tunisia, totaling 19 points".
