Angolan startup launches collective financing platform for social projects

The Angolan startup Rebento announced, this Tuesday, the creation of a collective financing platform called “Alívio” to raise support for social and creative projects, which represents an investment of 10 million kwanzas.

According to the project coordinator, Ribeiro Tenguna, "Alívio" is the first collective financing platform in Angola that aims to facilitate the collection of financial support from the community for social, community, artistic and creative projects and initiatives, among others.

"As it is the first (platform) of its kind in the country, it was our development. In terms of innovation and technology, this platform will serve to support artists, non-governmental organizations, journalists, various types of audiences, which we call creators", highlighted Ribeiro Tenguna.

The "Alívio" platform, which will be launched on Thursday at the Portuguese Cultural Center in Luanda, has the integration of ATMs, managed by EMIS (Empresa Interbancária de Serviços), a partner of the startup, so that support and donations can be made on the platform. instantaneously.

The platform coordinator also guaranteed that it is completely safe against fraud, noting that, as it is an integrated mechanism, projects to be financed and the respective donations must be subject to prior analysis by a technical team.

This crowdfunding platform also has a technology called SSL (electronic security certificates based on encryption of information on the website), a type of digital certificate for automatic validation of donations.

Unitel Money, PayPay África, Guita and AfriMoney, electronic payment platforms, are some of "Alívio's" partners, as Ribeiro Tenguna highlighted.
