According to a note from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, "the security situation in eastern DRC is on the table".
Félix Tshisekedi disembarked in Luanda late this Tuesday morning and, according to CIPRA, he should return to Kinshasa within a few hours.
Upon his arrival, at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, the president of the DRC was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, writes Angop.
The security situation in eastern DRC has been the order of the day. The most recent approach took place in the capital of Ethiopia, when João Lourenço met with his DRC counterpart, on the sidelines of the 37th African Union Summit.
According to Angop, this hearing took place one day after the holding, also in Addis Ababa, of an extraordinary summit on the situation in the east of that country, which was attended by nine heads of state, including Tshisekedi.
