The conference, organized by Energy Capital&Power, in collaboration with the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, has the participation of large operators, such as Total, BP, Chevron and Eni, as well as new companies that have entered the market following the latest oil tenders from the national concessionaire.
"The presence of the President of the African Energy Chamber, NJ Ayuk, at the opening session is also confirmed, as well as technical visits to the Port of Luanda and two refineries", according to a note to which Lusa had access.
The National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency, the Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute, and the African Energy Chamber are strategic partners of the event.
Presenting itself as an "international platform for promoting Angola among political and business decision-makers", the conference aims to present new trends and services for the oil sector and provide direct contacts between those responsible for companies and public entities in Angola and elsewhere participating countries.
In the last edition (September 2023), according to the organization, 2213 delegates were in Luanda, from 41 countries, 73 speakers and representatives from 389 companies working in the oil sector.
During the event, 445 jobs were created for Angolan professionals and 22 for foreign professionals.
