The future '5 de Abril' municipal hospital, in addition to having a capacity for 100 beds, will also have other specialized services, in which physiotherapy stands out, writes Angop.

With an investment of around 283.2 million kwanzas, the hospital unit is scheduled to open in April.

The information was provided by Ema Samali, vice-governor for the Technical and Infrastructure area, last Friday, at the end of a visit to verify the works that are in the final stretch in Moçâmedes.

As part of the visit, in addition to the hospital, the delegation led by Archer Mangueira, governor of Namibe, also visited the professional training center, the residential complex for teachers and nurses and a school with seven classrooms in the Valódia neighborhood, writes Angop.

Speaking about the inauguration deadlines, the person in charge pointed April as the month for the start of the hospital and the training center and the 13th of February for the inauguration of the school. "We have a date for delivery of the hospital and the professional training center for the month of April. The school is scheduled for February 13", she said, quoted by Angop.

With regard to the training centre, advances Angop, it will be able to accommodate around 700 trainees and will cover areas such as IT, civil construction and sewing.
