Unitel, in a statement sent to VerAngola, explains that until then, it was only possible to load the Unitel Money wallet through a Unitel store or through authorized agents, "so this new solution will facilitate financial transactions".
Therefore, customers interested in depositing money via ATM must "generate a deposit reference from their Unitel Money wallet in the Unitel Money app or USSD, by calling *449#".
After having the reference, customers can go to an ATM with their bank card, select the menu 'Service Payments' and then 'Reference Payments' to make the deposit in the Unitel Money wallet.
Unitel also recalls that opening and managing a Unitel Money account is free of charge and done digitally. Those interested in opening a Unitel Money account can do so by accessing the 'Unitel Money Menu' via *449# or "download the Unitel Money app from the Playstore or App Store and open your Unitel Money account for free".
"Soon Unitel Serviços de Pagamentos Móveis, will launch mPayments, or Mobile Payments and is already working to involve more and more participants in the ecosystem so that it is possible to make direct payments with Unitel Money, without being necessary to carry money and change in your pocket", completes the note.
