With the signature of Luís Beires and Raphael Vieira, the feature film, based on the work of William Mandel, takes place in the Portuguese city of Porto and tells the story of how the well-known fortune cookies will change the lives of the characters.
Fredy Costa is part of the cast of the film, which is in the final stage of recording.
Quoted by Platinaline, the Angolan admitted that this production is his gateway to Netflix: "For me, it is a privilege to be part of this project for several reasons, but mainly because it is my gateway to Netflix".
In the film, the Angolan actor will play the role of a 31-year-old billionaire who "managed to earn his first million dollars even before finishing college. "With above-average intelligence, he is, however, quite eccentric in the way he conducts his negotiations and investments, being concerned not only with the project, but also with the people behind it," explained Fredy Costa.
"It's always nice to be able to work with actors who are part of a reference market and learn a little more from them," he admitted, adding that "one of the best parts of the film was having the honor of working with star Joaquim de Almeida.
He also made a positive assessment of the work developed in the world of the seventh art: "The balance was quite positive, although I already had an experience in the cinema in 2015 for a Nigerian film, I was able to learn a little more about how to make cinema", he said.
In Portugal, Fredy Costa was part of the productions "The Only Woman", "Ouro Verde" and "Direct Flight". In Brazil, he was part of the soap opera "I Love Paraisópolis", of Rede Globo, and of the drama of Record TV called "Apocalipse".
