The confirmation came at the end of an audience granted by João Lourenço to the Special Adviser to the French Presidency for Africa, Franck Paris.
The latter delivered a letter to João Lourenço on the part of Emmanuel Macron in which the strengthening of friendly relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries was emphasized.
After the meeting, in statements to the press, Sylvain Itté did not advance the likely dates of the visit, advancing only the month and ensuring that the matter was discussed at the hearing this Wednesday with the President of the Republic.
The French president's visit comes about two years after João Lourenço paid an official visit to France. It is recalled that the country was the first to receive an official visit from João Lourenço since taking office as President of the Republic.
