Fundação Arte e Cultura with ‘full house’ to counter that “O Fado Não se Dança”

“O Fado Não se Dança” was the theme of the conference show that brought together 180 art lovers this week at the Wyza Amphitheater of the Fundação Arte e Cultura, on the island of Luanda.

Men of the arts, women linked to the communication sector, managers and administrators lived the event where curiosity about the theme of the show was initially a target to “kill”, says a statement sent to VerAngola.

The conference show was a mix of theater, film, music and dance. At the end of the event, the reactions were not delayed.

Luís Carvalho, art teacher and head of Elinga Teatro, said the event showed how much culture unites people. “'Fado Não se Dança' is a unique performance, first it shows what a fado is, its history. It also shows that, many times, we have cultural traits. They managed to make a performance in a short time with an extremely intelligent thing”, he said.

The official also responded to the opening of the new show space, the Wyza Amphitheater of the Arte e Cultura Foundation. For this, the space responds to the great need faced by artists.

In public attire, Paulo Kussi, director of exchange and planning at the Ministry of Culture, said that the format of the event turned out to be a surprise: “It was a fantastic event, with a lot of emotion. We all left very satisfied”, he acknowledged, while praising the new space.
