Spanish bank Abanca buys 95 percent of Eurobic's capital

"Abanca agreed to purchase 95 percent of EuroBic shares. Banco de Portugal was informed in detail of the terms of the transaction", reveals Abanca in a press release.

The Spanish bank had already indicated in the last week its interest in the participation of Angolan businesswoman Isabel dos Santos in EuroBic with the condition of keeping a participation of at least 75 percent.
