"The sustainability specialist trained at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States of America, Filipe Moraes Borges, is expected in Luanda to give a keynote lecture during the first National Sustainable Business Forum, which will take place on Friday, February 21, at the Epic Sana Hotel, under the motto 'Sustainability, the Heart of the New Economy'", says a statement sent to VerAngola.
In addition, "the project management specialist, and the only professional certified by the Project Management Institute in Africa and Latin America", will also participate in the panel that will discuss the future of sustainable business, "alongside other sustainability experts, such as Lorenzo Mancini – an economist from the UNDP based in Angola, representatives of the Ministry of the Environment as well as the productive industry".
The forum is promoted by the company Allora and will begin with the "presentation of its objectives", followed by a "special intervention that will address the challenges and opportunities for the development of sustainable business in Angola".
This forum will address issues related to "regulations and financing strategies focused on sustainability, promoting an essential dialogue for the future of responsible business practices".
According to the event's organizers, cited in the press release, "the panels of this forum will include carefully chosen members representing institutions responsible for creating, promoting and/or monitoring the sustainable use of natural resources and environmental protection in line with the current paradigm of increasingly sustainable global development".

Representatives from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Bodiva, the Angolan Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency, the Angolan Startup Association, among others, are expected to attend the forum, with "representatives from the banking sector among the guests, in addition to businesspeople".
