The new sign is from the company Publimetal, which used social media to announce the "new shine" of Benguela.
In a post on its Facebook page, which VerAngola had access to, the company expressed pride in being part of this renewal.
"We are proud to be part of the renewal and beauty of our city with the creation of the 'I love Benguela' sign," the publication says.
"This symbol represents the love and pride we feel for our land," adds the company.
