It was through a post on his Linked-in that the Angolan announced the distinction – which took place on the 9th of January.

"Today is one of those unique days in our lives, because today I was awarded the Microsoft MVP", reads the publication, which is accompanied by an image where Microsoft congratulates and informs Quintino of winning the MVP title.

In the publication, José Quintino lists an extensive list of names as a thank you. At the end, he gives a general thank you to everyone who contributed in some way to this award.

The basis of this distinction is the work he has been developing as a Microsoft Cloud Azure solutions architect and Microsoft Certified Instructor, writes Jornal de Angola.

Regarding this achievement, the Angolan said it was a "great honor and privilege".

Working with Microsoft platforms since the beginning of his professional life, Quintino advised young people who want to follow in his footsteps to work hard and read, as well as recommending young people to stay informed, as in this field they have to "be proactive and pay attention to technological trends".

According to Jornal de Angola, the aforementioned award is given to technology professionals who share their knowledge of Microsoft products and services with the community.
