The information was provided by the Provincial Government of Cabinda, in a statement, to which VerAngola had access. "More than two thousand visitors came into contact with around 50 exhibitors, at the first edition of the Startup Tchiowa 2023 Fair and Conference, promoted by the Provincial Secretariat for Integrated Economic Development", the note reads.
Over two days, "technological creations and attractive services were on display at the fair, with suggestive brands, such as "Teu CV de Siama", "Mayuba Soft Tecnologias", "Ndikila", among others", adds the statement.
In turn, the conference focused on five themes, highlighting "Economic Diversification Paths" and the "Private Business Sector Financing Project".
At the closing ceremony, which took place this Wednesday, the provincial secretary of Industry, Mineral Resources and Petroleum, Henrique Bitebe, "valued the promotion of emerging companies, dedicated to technological development."
According to another statement from the provincial government, the exhibitors, from public and private companies, exposed "their entrepreneurship initiatives at a technological level".
It should be noted that the event opened on Tuesday, with the vice-governor for the Economic Sector, Macário Lembe, highlighting the "importance of the digital era these days", as well as recommending the "conscious use of Technologies of Information and Communication".
