The inauguration ceremony, which took place this Tuesday, was attended by the Secretary of State for Health for the Hospital Area, Leonardo Europa Inocêncio and Amadeu de Jesus Alves Leitão Nunes – who were responsible for cutting the ribbon – members of civil society and the ambassadors of Grupo Centrooptico, Mell Chaves and Sérgio Rodrigues.
“At Grupo Centrooptico, our mission is to democratize access to healthcare, not only visual but also auditory. And the creation of Audioclinic arises precisely from the need to give more strength to this business area focused exclusively on hearing health, and respond effectively to the growing demand for these services”, explains Amyn Habib, administrator of Grupo Centrooptico, in a statement sent to SeeAngola.
Seven professionals were hired to open the Audioclinic, including a speech therapist, three audiometry technicians and three audiometry technical assistants.
The services provided at Audioclinic include ENT consultations, impedance testing/tympanometry, Emissions
Oto Acoustics, foreign body extraction, aspiration/washing, prosthesis tuning and Simple Tonal Audiometry.
The health unit also offers a range of hearing aids and accessories with distinct characteristics from international brands such as Signia and Rexton.
Audioclinic services are also available in other Centrooptico stores, namely ZPR and Golfe, through the ‘Shop in Shop Audioclinic’ concept.
“It is a unit where we have cutting-edge equipment and technology and a team of specialist technicians, to ensure the provision of differentiated services to the population”, highlights Amyn Habib, highlighting Audioclinic’s distinctive factors: “qualified staff, high quality products with recognized suppliers, 'on-the-spot' services with or without appointment and prices suitable for all segments”.
The store is open from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, and on Saturdays, from 8am to 1pm. ENT consultations are held on Mondays and Thursdays, at 2:00 pm, and on Saturdays, at 9:30 am, with audiology consultations and exams carried out every day.
