Laborinho wants newly appointed people to combat scams and financial fraud on the Internet

Eugénio Laborinho was speaking during the act of inauguration and imposition of ranks on the commissioning officers of the PNA, SIC and SPCB, held at the Higher Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences "Osvaldo de Jesus Serra Van-Dúnem", in Belas.

"We need to update and streamline the ICT Area, in order to assist police and justice bodies in actions to prevent and combat cybercrime, especially in identifying the perpetrators of fraud crimes and other financial fraud committed through the use of Internet," he said.

The government official also urged the new Commander of the Civil Protection and Fire Service to create a new dynamic in the body, in order to respond quickly and effectively to cries for help from injured people, especially in cases of fires, road accidents, shipwrecks. , floods, calamities, as well as materializing the international commitments assumed by Angola in the field of civil protection.

Likewise, the leader requested the Commanders, National Directors, Deputy Inspector, Second Commanders and Deputy Directors of the National Police, to perform their duties with a spirit of dedication and professionalism, assisting the General Commander of the National Police and other responsible parties in the execution of public security policies defined by the State.

"To the MININT Delegates, we advise you to work hard on the internal organization, to respond to the concerns of staff and to reinforce operational activities, to considerably reduce crime rates in your areas of jurisdiction, in coordination with citizens and society", finished.
