Figures from the Special Taxation Directorate (DTE), cited by Angop, reveal that, until the last month of 2022, 417.3 million barrels were exported at an average price of 100.65 dollars.

Of the 9.1 billion kwanzas raised, 4.6 billion kwanzas corresponded to the revenue of the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), based on the amount declared by the national concessionaire after a five percent deduction, writes Angop.

Regarding the declarations of companies in the sector, writes Angop, 3.4 billion kwanzas corresponded to the Petroleum Income Tax, while 310.7 billion kwanzas and 299.6 billion kwanzas related to the Production Tax Petroleum Tax and the Petroleum Transaction Tax, respectively.

In terms of production, advances Angop, block 17 (TotalEnergies) took the 'gold' with 141.02 million barrels, while the 'silver' was attributed to block 32 (TotalEnergies) with 56.13 million barrels. On the podium is block 15 (ExxnMobil), with 51.4 million barrels.

Also noteworthy is block 0 A Cabinda, which also stood out among the large producers, with 34.9 million barrels.

According to Angop, oil production in Angola remained at 1.1 million barrels a day, less than the 1.450 million permitted by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

It should be noted that the OGE proposal for this year provides for a reference price of 75 dollars per barrel of oil.
