Car insurance allows for the repair of damage caused to third parties and to the vehicle itself, protect the occupants of the vehicle, or even protect the assets of the insured, in case of theft or theft.
"With this campaign we wanted to encourage the purchase of car insurance and combat the negative consequences of not having it. In the last three years we have recorded a 68 percent growth in the purchase of this insurance, which shows that awareness campaigns are bearing fruit, and that more and more people recognize the importance of having this insurance", says the commercial director of Nossa Seguros.
Nossa registered 1677 claims in 2022, which represented a growth of 12 percent compared to 2021, with 1493 claims. Regarding claims and compensation paid, the insurer paid 28 percent more compensation in 2022 (1,609,000,000 kwanzas) than in 2021 (1,257,000,000 kwanzas). The vast majority of compensation paid in 2022 was for property damage (93 percent); Bodily damage represented 4 percent and both bodily and material damage represented 3 percent of the compensation paid.
"Motor insurance has a large representation in our insurance portfolio and we believe that the need to protect assets and victims resulting from road accidents, without them depending on the financial capacity of the insured, will continue to be our greatest motivation. for the dissemination and availability of car insurance for drivers".
