The head of the emergency room at the Hospital General de Benguela, Adilson Francisco, said that the patients are in serious condition.
"These are very serious patients, polytraumatized, some with open trauma and others closed", he stressed in statements to the state broadcaster.
According to António Marques, the vehicle's driver, cited by Angop, the slippery pavement was at the base of the accident, due to the rain that fell at the time, making braking difficult and causing the vehicle to overturn.
