"In addition, among others, the firm commitment to cooperate with the State and/or with other national or foreign entities in the pursuit and implementation of a policy of free competition, with the aim of improving the business environment, ensuring the free and healthy competition between the various market agents, and protect the legitimate interests of consumers", they say.
The association also wants to contribute to the dynamization of the technological process of the national wheat milling industry and to support research and development in the sector.
Those responsible assume that the entity was created at a "good time", since international markets are facing numerous challenges. Over the last few months, members of the association have participated in various discussion spaces, such as webinars and conferences, in which major trends in the logistics and distribution sector and the effect on raw material prices are debated, with the The issue of constraints in the supply chain has assumed increasing relevance.
"We believe, therefore, that with this association our sector is prepared to defend itself and make it heard more consistently", they shoot.
They also mention that the management of prices and their regulation in the market will end up benefiting from the existence of this Association, since its main objective is that the sector works, that they manage to supply the market without fail, that they manage to contribute to the regulation of prices throughout the year, and that they continue to have opportunities to generate employment and contribute to the well-being of Angolans with the full functioning of the companies already associated and of those that will join this new entity.

Established at the end of June last year, the Association of Wheat Flour Producers of Angola is now established with the aim of defending the rights and interests of industrial wheat flour producers and contributing to the consolidation, competitiveness and standardization of the market in this sector of activity.
