Speaking to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), Mauro Graça also considered that with this infrastructure, "the country could have an additional 580,000 cubic meters of onshore storage capacity, distributed among three products: gasoline, diesel and LPG".

The chairman of the Executive Committee of Sonangol's Business and Distribution and Marketing Unit, Eusébio Vunge, said that the company is also investing in infrastructure aimed at improving the distribution and marketing of oil derivatives.

In the list of infrastructures, the official, cited by RNA, highlighted the construction of the Moxico railway branch that will connect the Benguela railway station in Luena and the fuel and gas plastering unit.

"It will allow our fuel shipment from the Lobito Oceanic Terminal to be made in a much safer and faster manner and these projects will fundamentally contribute to improving product rotation and our capacity to supply that region," he told RNA .

It is estimated that the first phase of construction of the Barra do Dande Ocean Terminal will end this year.
