The interruption of these services, which has occurred since the early hours of today, is due to a breakdown in the submarine cable designated as SAT-3.
"Angola Telecom and the SAT-3 submarine cable consortium are working to recover the damaged section between Libreville and Cacuaco," the statement said, without detailing how many customers were affected or when the service will be restored.
Angola Telecom is Angola's public telecommunications and multimedia company and was founded in 1992.
