In the challenge that took place at the 11 November stadium in Luanda, Kazadi, for the Moroccans, opened the scoring in the 14th minute, after a cross, and seven minutes later Herenilson from Petro made the 1-1, following a strong shot.

With the crowd pulling for the hosts, Dany, for the 'oilmen', undid the equality in the 45th minute, in a direct free-kick, while in the 57th minute, Wydad scored through Jabrane, in the transformation of a penalty, a result that remained until the end.

This result keeps Petro de Luanda in the last place in the group with two points, the result of two defeats and two draws, while Wydad add six points in a group led by Mamelodi Sandowns of South Africa, with seven points, who played on Saturday against USM of Algeria.

Petro de Luanda coach, Tony Cozano, said at the end of the game that his team lacked "a little bit of luck", especially in the final minutes of the match. Zoran Maqui, Wydad's coach, said the result "was fair".

Also on Saturday for Group A, the 1.º de Agostol, four-time champion, lost 2-1 in the Democratic Republic of Congo against TP Mazembe, in the fourth match of the group stage of the competition.

Four games, two draws and two defeats, is the balance of the 1.º de Agosto, which adds two points to the last position of the group, which has the Congolese TP Mazembe in the lead, now with 10 points, and with qualification assured for the quarter-finals.
