The return of José Eduardo dos Santos, former President of the Republic, to Luanda is scheduled for this Friday, January 10.
Since he left the country in April 2019, the former President has been living in Barcelona, Spain.
According to O Decreto, the return of JES had been spoken during the past year: it came to light that the former president would return to Luanda in May 2019. However, according to sources close to the former ruler, he decided to extend his stay on Spanish land after having been advised by several relatives.
